Transparent Watercolor Society of America 34th Exhibition

“Let the Good Times Roll”, a watercolor painting depicting a rainy day at the New Orleans Mardi Gras, has been accepted into the member exhibit by juror Jean Grastorf. This year the exhibit will be at the Kenosha Public Museum from May 1 to July 25, 2010.

On the Cover of farmers’ market today

“Under the Awning” a recent painting of

the Sarasota Florida downtown farmers’ market, will be the January 2010 cover image for the nationally distributed magazine, dedicated to the interests of those who take part in their local farmers’ markets. www.farmersmarketstoday.com The magazine will also use a second Parins painting, “Apple Pie,” for the October issue. Giclée prints of the cover paintings are available for $79.

southern Watercolor Society’s 33rd Exhibition

Juror Cheng-Khee Chee has included the painting “Side of a Barn” in the 95 paintings in the exhibit. The society includes members from 18 southern states. This year the exhibit will be held at the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts in Madisonville, Kentucky from March 26 - April 30, 2010.
